Freight Forwarding of goods from Nigeria to the U.S.

Recurrent services, of the order of every other month.

Purpose

For the export of goods to the U.S., primarily to East Coast ports (Norfolk, Baltimore, New York. New Jersey)

Covered Items

Mostly processed food products destined for the U.S. market. May also include personal effects and related items on occasion.

Delivery Type/Form

Comprehensive freight forwarding support from pickup at designated location to delivery at the intended seaport in the U.S. This includes documentation and other requirements needed for legal and seamless shipment of goods to the U.S.

Delivery Start

Within 4 weeks of Contract Agreement

12 Months

Delivery Location

Aba, Abia State (but may occasionally have goods originating from other towns within the southeast).

Pricing Terms

Pricing from vendor shall be all-inclusive to cover ALL charges including transportation & delivery to ports for onward shipment to specified location FOR EACH SHIPMENT. However, CLIENT shall be responsible for off-loading of shipped items from delivery vehicle at the delivery location. 

Payment Terms

Vendor is to be paid in a stagewise manner for each phase of the shipment effort. Payment may be by bank transfer to vendor’s account and would be covered by applicable documentation (receipts). Payments to third-party service providers (shipping lines, insurance providers, etc.) may be made directly to those third parties by client upon advice of vendor.

Suspension Or Termination

In the event that any circumstances, business considerations, or external factors force, require, or advice the reduction, suspension, or termination of buyer’s manufacturing operations, buyer reserves the right to suspend or terminate the service agreement with 15 days’ notice.
